Love is Felt When…

Love is felt when...

What are the feelings and emotions that envelop love? How do we know when we arein love? What do our partners do that makes us feel loved? How do we know that Cupid’s arrow has struck and that this time, it is the real thing?

There are a million and one possible ways that enamored couples demonstrate their love for each other. Some of these pleasures of the soul will ebb and flow in a relationship, depending on the circumstances, but they persist over time. Sure, some ways that we say “I love you” (even the act of saying “I love you”) may depend, in large part, on our personalities and our upbringings. But many of these indicators cross the boundaries of personality types and culture. They are, in essence, the foundations on which relationships are built.

When the core values of a couple are in alignment, love is a many-splendored thing. Here are some ways to show your lover that you love her (or him). Look for these in your relationship, and if they’re not there, find ways to imbue some of them into your union.
